Weavings of the Master's Hand

White church framed

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine
own understanding,  in all thy ways acknowledge Him,
and He shall direct thy paths. Proverbs 3:5-6

Hello, I am Vera Jefferies, called Ms. V by most,

Man's Life is laid in the loom of time
To a Pattern he does not see,
While the weavers work and the shuttles fly
Till the dawn of eternity.

Some shuttles are filled with silver threads
And some with threads of gold,
While often but the darker hues
Are all that they may hold.

I pray that your walk through my workshop will be a learning experience
May you be strengthened in your faith and find peace and joy for your journey.

There may be some humor along the way, but most of all,
I hope you can find something in the threads of my life that can be woven into yours.

The Weavings of Tapestry are lessons lived and lessons learned through the pages of time.

There is a Master Weaver that takes the broken and knotted threads of
our life then weaves them into a beautiful work of art.
The threads are ours but the weaving belongs to Him.

He takes the threads of our yesterdays, today and all the tomorrows
then weaves them into a design of His grace.

Give the Master Weaver the fabric of your life and let Him
make something beautiful for eternity.

Teaching is a joy to me.

I began teaching when I was eighteen and that was some time ago!
I loved teaching the young childlren,  the teenagers, and,
of course my greatest joy was ministering to dear Ladies.

I am a grandmother with grand children and  great-grand children
They are the joy of my life.
So you might  could say I am now jetting through my "golden years."

I have kept the Weaver busy!
Yet, He is still weaving.

I am so glad that which is unknown
 He sees all too perfectly
and one day will make it plain to me.

But the weaver watches with skillful eye
Each shuttle fly to and fro,
And sees the pattern so deftly wrought
As the loom moves sure and slow.

God surely planned the pattern:
Each thread, the dark and fair,
Is chosen by His master skill
And placed in the web with care.

He only knows its beauty,
And guides the shuttles which hold
The threads so unattractive,
As well as the threads of gold.

Not till each loom is silent,
And the shuttles cease to fly,
Shall God reveal the pattern
And explain the reason why.

The dark threads were as needful
In the weaver’s skillful hand
As the threads of gold and silver
For the pattern which He planned.
