WEAVINGS OF PRAYER

As I meditate upon Thy goodness and willingness to forgive, O Lord,
 I am constrained to think of the immeasurable depths of Thy love.
How many times I have failed Thee.
How many times I have slipped and fallen.
How many times I have turned a deaf ear to the promptings of Thy Spirit.
I recognize my shortcoming and sins, dear Father;
I confess them to Thee and claim Thy promise of forgiveness and cleansing.
Help me, I pray, to believe fully Thy promises and to pattern my life more closely to
 the One whose sinless life was given that I might have the cleansing
experience of forgiveness and reconciliation with Thee. Amen.

God Bless The U.S.A.

If tomorrow all the things were gone I’d worked for all my life,
 And I had to start a gain with just my family and my wife,
 I’d thank my God above, to be living here today,
‘cause the flag still stands for freedom,--And they can’t take that away.

And I’m proud to be an American, where al least I know I’m free.
And I won’t forget the men who died
—and gave that right to me. And I’ll gladly stand up next to you—
